Origin and Description:
Hoya SS20-01 is a hybrid between Hoya desvouexensis and Hoya crassipetiolata, created by Surisa Somadee. This hybrid is characterized by its thick, waxy leaves, a trait inherited from Hoya crassipetiolata. The leaves are smooth, not curling or speckled, and present a glossy green appearance. Hoya SS20-01 produces clusters of star-shaped, fragrant flowers, similar to many other Hoyas, making it a visually appealing addition to any collection. Though not rare, it remains somewhat uncommon, appealing to collectors seeking something distinctive yet manageable in care.

Natural Habitat:
As a hybrid, Hoya SS20-01 doesn’t occur naturally but benefits from the traits of its parent species, which hail from Southeast Asia. Both parent species grow as epiphytes in humid environments, clinging to trees in tropical rainforests, making Hoya SS20-01 well-suited to indoor cultivation with the right conditions.

Care Instructions:
