Request Portal Privacy Policy

Request Portal is an internal administrative application operated by Unsolicited Plant Talks. The app is intended for use by authorized Unsolicited Plant Talks team members to manage customer plant requests, offers, inventory links, plant photos, and related administrative tasks.
Information We Collect and Use
Request Portal may process and store information necessary to operate the app, including:
- Authorized administrator and device identifiers used to authenticate access to the app
- Device push-notification tokens used to deliver administrative notifications
- Photos uploaded by authorized users for plant requests and offers
- Request-related content entered by authorized users, including notes, offer details, availability information, and other administrative information
This information is used only to provide and operate Request Portal, authenticate authorized users, manage customer requests, maintain app functionality, and send requested administrative notifications.
Customer Information
Authorized users may view customer and order information made available through Unsolicited Plant Talks' systems as necessary to manage plant requests. Request Portal does not sell customer or employee information.
Photos
If an authorized user grants access to their photo library, Request Portal may access only the photos selected by the user for upload to a plant request or offer.
Push Notifications
If notifications are enabled, Request Portal may store a device push-notification token in order to send administrative notifications such as new request and request-status updates.
Data Sharing
Information is shared only with service providers necessary to operate Request Portal and the Unsolicited Plant Talks ecommerce systems, such as hosting, Shopify, and notification-delivery services. Information is not sold or shared for third-party advertising.
Tracking and Advertising
Request Portal does not use collected information for cross-app tracking, third-party advertising, or advertising profiling.
Data Security
Access to Request Portal is restricted to authorized users. Administrative access credentials and device tokens can be revoked. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect information processed through the app.
Data Retention
Administrative and request information may be retained as needed for business records, customer service, security, and operation of the Request Portal, subject to applicable legal and business requirements.
Your Choices
Authorized users may disable push notifications through device settings. Photo access may also be managed through iOS privacy settings.
