Event Recap: Houston and Palos Verdes

Wow, what a weekend!
We attended two plant events in Houston and Palos Verdes, and were blown away by the number of people who showed up! A big thank you to everyone who attended - you make everything we do worthwhile.
Hoyas in Houston
Daryk and I hit the road for Houston on Friday, and man, what a drive! We're going to be changing our travel strategy for future out-of-state events, because the marathon road trip was pretty tiring. However, it was totally worth it to leave Cali for the first time and come see everyone in Texas!
One of the highlights of the weekend was discovering the abundance of hoya enthusiasts in Houston. Just look at this line that @exoticalandia caught on tiktok (thanks for sharing this with me!)

We were thrilled to engage with such an interested and passionate crowd, and it gave us a better understanding and appreciation of the plant community in the area. It was so heartwarming to see that so many individuals were willing to travel long distances, some even taking flights or driving for hours just to come and say hello. We are so grateful for your support!
To top it all off, one of our plants even won a beauty contest! A customer entered it after purchase, and it was an amazing feeling to receive recognition for our hard work and dedication. It was not only a compliment to us, but also a testament to the quality of our plants. We really do put our heart and soul into taking care of each and every plant that we sell.
Plants in Palos Verdes
The rest of the team hit up Palos Verdes for the Orchid Show! So many beautiful plants on display, and another great crowd. We love seeing familiar faces from our California clients, and meet new people with interest in hoyas.
Everyone worked so hard to make these events happen, and I couldn't be prouder of what we accomplished. They really are incredible support for our business, and it makes me so happy to see how far we have come in just a few years. Thanks team!
Overall, we had a fantastic weekend, and we can't wait to do other out-of-state events! It was an opportunity for us to connect with our customers and fellow plant enthusiasts, learn more about all of you, and showcase the quality of our plants.
